What is a Squad?

A squad is a collection of agents plus additional orchestration capabilities. Squads allow you to coordinate multiple agents to work together, providing more sophisticated and powerful AI solutions.

Agent Orchestration

During a conversation, you can manually switch agents for each message, or let the squad do the intent detection and switch agents automatically. This flexibility allows you to route conversations to the most appropriate agent based on the user's needs.

With MCP agents in a squad, it becomes very powerful, as you can combine specialized RAG agents with MCP agents that have access to external tools and services.

Orchestration Patterns

The Pro Plan supports different orchestration patterns, giving you advanced control over how agents work together within a squad. These patterns enable complex workflows and intelligent routing between agents.

Deployment

Squads are the unit of deployment in PrimePilot. Agents can be added and removed from squads as needed, allowing you to evolve your deployment over time.

Squads are assigned domains, and you can only deploy them to the configured domains. This ensures proper access control and domain-specific configurations.

Each squad has deployment configurations which you can easily copy and add to your website, making it simple to integrate PrimePilot into your existing websites or internal systems.
